How the sign up process works for Personal Training

In my process, there are 4 Steps to begin a Personal Training program:

 

1. Application Form

The first step is to fill out an application form to assess:

a) Whether the goals you are seeking are ones that I am confident I can deliver on.

b) To gauge where you are at mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as you being your fitness journey.

c) To understand your level of commitment.

2. Phone Call

If the application form looks like a good fit, the next step is to have a phone call to get to know eachother a bit more, discuss your goals in detail, and for me to start forming an idea of who you are and how to organize the next few months of your training and lifestyle for maximum long-term positive impact.

Also to make sure that you have the necessary resources to invest in a coaching program.

If everything seems like two-thumbs up, we'll take it to the next step... 

3. First meeting

The first time we meet in person, we'll just have a casual chat about your fitness journey up to this point. I will be asking some questions to uncover the layers behind what motivates you, what brought you to this point of wanting to hire a trainer, where you may be stuck, what your stress factors and sabotage potential is, and more. After this chat we'll know for sure if we want to work together.

4. First workout

Last but not least, we will get to the actual workout. In this assessment-style workout I'll be focused on observing your movement patterns, exercise technique, joint stabilization, and flexibility. As I make corrections and introduce new exercises, I'll be paying attention to your body's comprehension and coordination ability, along with the amount of time it takes to implement a new move correctly.

By this point you'll know objectively how long the process will take to reach your goals, how frequent your training should be, and what your priorities are at the moment. With this information you can make an informed decision about how to proceed forward.

 

FEES & INCLUSIONS

Note that I do not offer long term packages, instead simply 4 or 10 sessions at a time, paid in half or full ahead of time via e-transfer or cash, and all sessions booked in for at least two weeks in advance.

4 session package is $400 (+hst)
10 session package is $900 (+hst)

I hold a small number of spots for a sliding scale, accepted on an as-needed basis at my discretion and availability.

In every Personal  Training program, the following is included:
+ Complete text and email support with any questions
+ Custom workout program design and maintenance
+ Custom meal planning , calorie budgeting, and protein/ carb/ fat calculations (this is done together so you learn the process)
+ Discount for any workshops I host (limited space)
+ Custom designed workouts for your specific hotel when you travel
+ Access to a private facebook group for current clients for further support
